 Tried it - deleted it I want my users to look at MS Project files without installing the whole product. As I can't find a good viewer I thought Office Viewer ActiveX might be a solution.However it crashes each time I try to open a MS Project file. So I deleted it and ended my evaluation. However Word/Powerpoint worked fine and I keep it in mind if I need something like thatBest regardsGerhard

 Just what its supposed to do and it makes life so much simpler for those of us who hate the 2007 interface. I shall recommend it to my son my also has problems with the new 2007 menus
 New menus slow down MS Word. Yes the do! A moment ago I sent you a review saying that I wondered if it was your menus that were slowing down MS word. They answer is now a DEFINITE YES. They are unworkable... I work on a document. WHen the MENUS option (your new button bar) is selected, the back-arrow key is very slow. When I select another button bar, e.g. home, the arrow key works fine. This is not acceptable behavior.
Are the menus slowing down MS Word? I love the menus. Glad they are back. But I have a problem. I don't know if it is related to your menus, but I have not used M.S.Word much since installing them, and all of a sudden it is VERY SLOW! I hold down the back-arrow key, for example, and move back about 2 characters a second.I looked a utility to try to find what is eating my system. No virus scanner. Not much else.I haven't yet tried removing your menus, but at this point Word is unworkable.
Would not work When I have this program installed, I cannot open MS Word on my pc

 I tried it and it did not work. Error message says "open" password not supported. So, for me it was a failure and did not do as advertised.
Open Office with MSWord locked documents I tried this software as I have had an ongoing set of problems with documents written on Open Office but saved using MSWord document format. Documents were 'locked for editing' and there was no easy way I could see to unlock them so tried your program as an option. The problem resolved itself as an Open Office software issue which had been resolved recently and discussed in the Open Office on-line forum.

Nice but costly. Well this is a very useful and nice software but for me, that for a personel file the solution is costly What I was looking for was a Freeware. I would very much appreciate and very thankful to you.

 Well, I tried it but it did not print out all the details as found in the pdf format, when converted to Word format. It is not the printer that caused the problem, as I have printed more faithfully from another trial pdf to Word converter - it gave far better results anyway. Maybe, your full version can reproduce faithfully. However, I do not want to take the chance by buying your product. Thanks very much for letting me try your trial version.

Outstanding - as advertized and more Totally impressed with both products – Textmaker and Planmaker which I installed on my HP IPAQ 5915 PocketPC, I tried it because Mobile Word could not open MS Word password protected files. I have not yet tried out all the features, but here I mostly cite things I DIDN’T expect:NO problem opening the password file I had previously downloaded, seems to have ALL the features of MSWord like tables, fonts, even a GOOD drawing program with features like lots of shapes and freehand, variable lines and colors, etc.- just like MS Draw. Same thing for Planmaker – it seems to ...
Useful word processor I was interested in a program for my Pocket PC which could open big MS Word files. SoftMaker Office for Pocket PCs does it. I find though that it does not reduce the length of files. I understand that for some users this could be an advantage. Not for me, given the small capacity of my Pocket PC. It works also a bit slow: to open a MS Word document 1 MB long takes about 1 minute. But this imperfections are more my Pocket PC’s than the SoftMaker Office’s. Thank you for the opportunity to test your good product.
